We aim to only reach out to landlords when there are emergencies or items that need urgent attention, mostly relating to gas or electricity supply. If there is a boiler breakdown, we have a quick turn around team that can attend to such issues.

How will I communicate with London Shortstays as a host?

Every host and agent is set up with an online portal to check the progress of their property. They can message us on our webpage, but we are also always reachable through the dedicated agents who are always available for any inquiries regarding your property. The agents will be your main contact and will keep you updated on anything related to the property.

How can you ensure that guests will take care of my home?

We provide a set of firm rules and regulations that should strictly be adhered to by our guests. Failure to abide by the said rules will cause them to risk losing their deposit. We make sure the guests are well vetted and have detailed house notes. We have processes to validate guest identities and we always verify that our guests are responsible and will treat the home as their own. We take a deposit and have a very secure system. We are happy to share that there have been no damages beyond the occasional TV repairs, cleaning, and light scuffs which we deduct from the deposit. We also advise our hosts to allow a light wear and tear with respect to our valued guests, but we will always guarantee it is well looked after.

Who handles the cleaning of the property?

We have a great cleaning team that has gone through rigid training to review and clean the place using high-quality cotton towels and linens.
We promise to take care of your home, like it was our own, and we will always return it to you in exactly the same (if not better) condition it was in when you left it to us.

What happens if there is a problem with the property and I am unavailable?

We only require one other contact in case of emergencies and we will only ever contact them if you’re unreachable and it is regarding a serious emergency we cannot take care of. We have trusted contacts that can fix any issue and we will set the seal on providing this information to the secondary contact.
